6 viewsOur last day in GNP was made up primarily of us driving through the park to get to the other side to head to Spokane since we had to fly out the next day. But thankfully, they got the entire Going to the Sun road cleared of snow by then (actually, they finally opened the road 9:30AM Thursday but unfortunately we wanted to get to the east side of the park on Tuesday).

5 viewsUpon ahead and to the left you can see the first glimpse of Logan Pass. Logan Pass is the pass over the continental divide to the other side of the park.

4 viewsThis is one of the few tunnels that they had to actually hand dig through the mountain in order to build the road.

5 viewsThis picture can give you an idea of the amount of snow they had to get through. Notice the snow bank next to the bus. Its a good 20 feet deep.

5 viewsThese red buses took people on tours all over he park. The entire roof is a California top that can open.

|

5 viewsWe would be happy with either of these VW's- a newer Westphalia Camper, or a Jetta TDI wagon. In fact, these are probably our top 2 choices for our next VW!
